Vocabulary

Burito – Flour tortilla rolled up with your choice of meat, covered with burrito sauce and melted cheese.

Chalupa – Deep fried flour tortilla in the shape of a giant taco, and filled with your choice of meat, lettuce, tomato and cheese.

Chille Releno – A roasted poblano chille pepper stuffed with cheese, then breaded and fried. Topped with red sauce and cheese.

Enchilada – Corn tortilla rolled up with your choice of meat, covered with red sauce and melted cheese.

Picadillo – Seasoned shredded beef.

Pico de gallo – Mixture of tomatoes, tomatillos, onions and cilantro.

Tamales – Fixture of corn mesa with spices until soft, then stuffed with shredded pork, and steamed. Covered with red sauce and melted cheese.
